Products Description
In automatic mode, when detectors detect a fire, they send signals to the control panel The control panel then activatesthe alarm fashing device, starts exhaust fans, cuts off non-essential power, and recalls elevators. If someone sees the fire.they can press the manual call point to initate the same process. For gas protection areas, two detectors need to beactivated simultaneously before the timer starts After the delay, the gas will be released, and the release indicator lightswill light up to warn people not to enter. All these steps work together to ensure rapid detection and safe evacuation.
| 1. Detection Layer (Sensors) The detection layer is the perception systemof the fire alarm system. It includes smokedetectors, heat detectors, and mixed smokeand heat detectors. Smoke detectors cansense the air changes caused by a fire and aresuitable for offices and hotels. Heat detectorsmonitor temperature rises and are suitable forkitchens and garages. Combined detectorsuse both signals simultaneously to reducefalse alarms, making them ideal for hospitalsand high-end buildings. For large spaces likewarehouses or stadiums, beam-type smokedetectors are used. For high-risk areas like oildepots, flame detectors are recommended. |
|
| 2. Input Layer (Manual and MonitoringEquipment) This layer has the functions of humanoperation and external equipment monitoring. It includes manual call points, input modules,short-circuit isolators, and fire phone sockets. The manual call points are set near exits andstaircases to enable people to manuallytrigger the alarm. The input module receivessignals from external devices (such as waterflow switches or pressure switches). Theshort-circuit isolator protects the system bydisconnecting the faulty part of the circuit. Thefire phone socket enables firefighters tocommunicate with the control center inemergencies. |
|
| 3. Control Layer (The "Brain" of the System)The control layer is the "brain" of the entiresystem. Its main components are the firealarm control panel and the gas firesuppression control panel. The fire alarmcontrol panel receives signals from alldetectors and modules. It decides when toissue an alarm and activate other devices. Thegas fire suppression control panel isspecifically designed for FM200, IG541, or CO2systems. It has functions such as delayedstart-up, manualautomatic mode switching, and pressure feedback monitoring. Othercontrol devices include repeater panels fordisplaying alarms on different floors and firebroadcast hosts for playing evacuationinstructions. | |
| 4. Execution Layer (Alarm and ActionEquipment) The execution layer is responsible forexecuting the instructions from the controlpanel. It includes alarm indicator lights, outputmodules, fire alarm bells, and gas releaseindicators. The alarm indicator lights can emitloud sounds and flash lights to alert people toevacuate. The output module controls otherdevices, such as exhaust fans, fire dampers, power cut-off devices, or elevator recalldevices. The fire alarm bell is a low-costoption for traditional systems. The gas releaseindicator is installed at the entrance of theprotected area. When gas is about to bereleased or has been released, they will lightup to warn people not to enter. |
